Serge Belongie is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen and Director of the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence (P1). His research bridges Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Human-in-the-Loop Computing — exploring how AI can interpret, interact with, and ultimately serve human understanding. A co-founder of several technology companies and recipient of multiple global awards, he also serves as General Chair for EurIPS 2025 and ECCV 2026.
