His academic leadership spans decades, having served as Chancellor of UAE University (1983-2013), Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology (1988-2013), and President of Zayed University (1998-2013). In February 2025, His Highness received the inaugural Emirati Day for Education Award, acknowledging his lifelong commitment to advancing education and human development.
